Detective basket is also a letter from Mrs. Monteron, the wife of a French inventor, who was kidnapped the day before. Fearing for his life, and your child is entrusted Holmes Monteron temporary custody of little one, promising that reports to the child as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the use of temporary absence of the investigator, the kidnappers arrive at Baker Street and grab the little Tony. Also her mother disappears. Inspector Lestrade abduction case involves the latest invention of Dr. Monterone, who constructed the prototype submarine. Invention were interested in many foreign intelligence. All indications are that the spies one of the countries concerned, having in the hands of his wife and child trapped researcher intend to blackmail him, demanding the disclosure of the invention. Soon he blackmailer contacted with Holmes, warning him not to interfere with that matter, as it may pay with their lives. The detective did not intend, however, to give up.
