Once Brad excuses himself, Ashley wastes no time in telling Jack about Brooke Logan's version of the Forrester deal. Jack acts hurt that Ashley would take her word over that of her own brother. He continues to avoid answering his sister's question and then stuns Ashley with news that his ultimate goal is to return Jabot to its rightful owner: their father! Brad runs into Nikki and tries to make her believe that the takeover was merely about business. Nikki thinks Brad is deluding himself and urges him to admit that he was simply seeking revenge on Victor. Victor tries various tactics to get through to Chet, to no avail. After Chet leaves, Ramona enters the compound. He tells her that Chet is a psychopath and he must escape before Chet harms him. Ramona doesn't believe that but she promises Victor to give Victor the gate code at the right time so that he can leave. Victoria and Ryan enjoy a private lunch at the Genoa City Hotel. Ryan complains that he hates being touted a traitor to the Newmans and Victoria tells him they need him now more than ever. Tricia arrives unnoticed just as Victoria dons Ryan a goodbye kiss. Jill is furious to learn that Katherine is in town after all and has been in touch with Stan Kinsey, a mutual acquaintance of theirs. Nina and Brett realize that Jill feels extremely lonely so they allow her to spend some time with Phillip before he leaves for camp. Brett then stuns Nina with his request that she move in with him. At the shelter, Ellen and Ned worry about the recent lack of funding. Everyone is stunned when suddenly an enormous food donation is delivered. Katherine calls Stan to thank him. Mac and Kay have another lengthy conversation in which Kay explains that she feels much richer now living at the shelter as she has found a new friend in Mac. Written by Torsten B.
