Bookie Bobby turns up, demanding immediate payment of the boys' debts, but when they help him catch four kids who wired cards info for about as much, he calls it quits. Another surprise party-goer is Kris' old friend Win Acosta from camp LeGrange, who is in trouble again and tells her a deal he made with the police helped get her in jail; after she rages at him he tries to commit suicide, but Mat stops him, thinking he attacks her. Junior is bothered by Molly Blitzer, from his posh prep school Davidson; his sister Dani tells black scholarship future colleague Evan Garvey that her mother is Spanish and abandoned her as a baby with her dad.
