In the meantime, they still continue to bring drugs in by having people sneak across the border by going to throw a ranch owned by Alex's friends. But when the husband catches them, he calls his foreman for help, but he kills him, as he apparently works for the Ortega brothers. Upon learning of what happened they make plans to buy the ranch.
