First up, to the strains of a popular song of the day, "Pink Lemonade," are three gentlemen, who introduce themselves as Dr. Warren Nadel (New York City dentist) and show business moniker, Randy Starr, composer and singer of Top 40 songs. Sally Ann and Mr. Ludden determine the correct dentist by day and composer/singer at night and weekends. Before leaving, Dr. Nadel/Mr. Starr sings a bit of his latest tune, " Half-Hearted Love." On a more serious note, the second round presents an American man and French woman, respectively as Mr. Hubert Trent and Madame Jeanine Giles, D-Day rescuer and rescued. During World War II, Army pilot Hubert flew from England to Normandy that fateful June 6 day and was rescued and protected by Madame Giles, putting her life at risk. As well, Bud Collyer introduces the French actress, in the audience that evening, who played Madame Giles in the 1962 classic war film, "The Longest Day." Despite that clue, as Mr. Collyer calls it, the panel is stumped, but delighted and moved by the heroic tale. Finally, three British gentlemen are presented as one Mr. Stanley Dangerfield, a world authority on dogs, with a program on the BBC and having lectured throughout western Europe on his canine expertise. Tom Poston, Sally Ann Howes, and Kitty Carlisle accurately peg the gentleman. Bud Collyer bids the panel good night, and they are seen mingling with contestants, impostors and genuine, in the studio, as the closing credits roll. Written by johnmike59 See less
