The two plans to spend a romantic weekend together in Catalina, until Liz finds out she is receiving the Tribune Junior Writing Award. Todd can't hide his disappointment that Liz always ends up putting her activities first. Liz takes notice of his resentment and decides to meet Todd for the festival after all. Teen-Girl magazine sponsors a "Fab Feast" contest that has Lila and Jessica engaged in cut-Throat competition to see who can throw the best party. The two end up sabotaging each other's parties.
