Edie while sitting thru the taping of the show ends up interrupting the guest (who's a fashion designer showing off his new line) Edie ends up venting her opinion on the new designs (way too glam for what's supposed to be everyday wear) and somehow ends up impressing the network execs enough that they offer her a job on the show as an on camera personality. Jill is at first appalled by this, but when she ends up realizing how unhappy her mother is at home by herself without much to do in her daily life, she comes around to the idea. Written by Matt S.
