As this fits a legendary curse, they travel to his native city of Bourg, where the previous owner suffered the same fate until Naomi put on the mask. They consult a macabre French expert on executions, who helps them trace the mask back to an orphanage-turned-boarding school. A villain learns a nightmare lesson before the curse is lifted.
