Greg starts his first day in his private practice. Karen cannot go to university until Mrs. Davidson completes her investigation; Clement admits to being conned by Bea; Davidson throws him out. Vera overhears Clement advising Fletcher to get his hemophobia treated by a psych; she asks Greg the meaning of the term. Melinda is pregnant, presumably with Tom's child; she plans to use that fact to get a lower sentence. Noeline threatens Leanne with being cut off from the family unless she gets off the dole; Jean offers her a place to stay with her and Meg. Martha serves as Bella's bodyguard, holding off Monica when she tries to strangle her; she hears Bella referring to her as a moron, then Bella foolishly shows her disdain to Martha herself.
