Meg arrives at the prison and organises the conscious officers to get the women out of the building. Ann comes to and sets out to help the inmates, rescuing Leigh from her blazing cell. Judy stops Marie escaping through the kitchen as the riot comes to an end. Joan wants to adopt Shane. The police try to get a semi-conscious Reb to blame Bobbie for her attack. Alice and Frances are violently ill after drinking Marlene's barley water. Leigh learns the minister has resigned following her accusations. Myra returns to H Block but Judy gives her the cold shoulder. Marlene tries to convince Judy that Edna poisoned the barley water but accidentally smashes the bottle, destroying the evidence.
