Meanwhile, Julie learns that her new writer friend was previously engaged to Craig, and she then takes a gamble on her future with him. Sarah's pregnancy becomes an issue for pro-choice Linda and pro-life Carrie. When Sarah finally decides on an abortion, her freedom of choice is taken from her when she gets hit by a car and miscarries. Mark visits Sarah in the hospital, but angry that she chose an abortion in the first place, he leaves her for good.
