Knowing Leda's vanity, Paul paints a magnificent portrait of her and presents it to her at the lavish apartment where she and Nelson live. It adorns the living room of the apartment. Leda eventually notices something strange. When the arm in the portrait gets scratched, Leda's own arm suddenly gets a scratch. Lida rejects Paul's continued overtures and the notion that something supernatural is happening with regards to the portrait. Then she moves the portrait into her bedroom and hangs it over her bed.
