RC wants to catch blind singer Charley Connor's performance at his old friend Josh Bevin's bar. But Bevin is on the receiving end of a beating by some thugs hired by construction overseer E.G. Sanford. To complicate matters, RC refuses to believe that his childhood friend and hero Keith Lawson is leading the enforcers. Meanwhile K.I.T.T. hooks up with a bunch of kids who show considerable music talent and decides to coach them, despite the fact that the car is quite tone-deaf.
