Immortal Kamir, last of the Thuggees, is determined to reclaim the Kali for India, and he wants Duncan's help. In flashback to 1764 British-Occupied India, Duncan is trying to track down the Thuggees and prevents young widow Vashti from committing suttee on her dead husband's pyre.
