Stephanie tries to make it clear to her that she does not have to give up Ridge. Taylor realizes that Stephanie is right that she has to take charge of her own life and therefore vacate her dad's living room and instead: she decides to purchase the lovely beach house in Santa Monica. Meanwhile, Maggie and Dylan are still thinking a lot of each other and their brief romance. Jessica and Connor then arrive to pick up their respective dates for the evening. Ironically, Jessica has picked Mannequin's as the venue for tonight's double date, the exact restaurant where Dylan and Maggie first met. Maggie acts as if she is in love with Connor, thereby fueling Dylan's jealousy. As Jessica and Connor briefly dance together, Dylan confronts Maggie.
