On cue, Sheila arrives at the condo. While Brooke says goodbye to Karen, Sheila is repulsed by how dirty Eric Jr. is and decides that - as his step-mother - she will have to take an active role with the boy. Sheila then asks Brooke to be her maid of honor. Brooke accepts the offer. Eric wants Thorne to be his best man, but he refuses. Eric is furious that his own son cannot be happy for him. Sheila settles in at the chapel. After failing to reach her nemesis over the phone, Lauren puts a sudden end to Sheila's pre-marital bliss.
