However, he refuses to break his date and goes to dinner with his ex-wife. Stephanie is thrilled that Eric is honoring his commitment. She asks him to dance and they remember the good old days. Eric and Stephanie are concerned when the patent lawyer calls and says there is a problem with the patent for the BeLieF formula. Taylor and Ridge get ready for the evening after making love. Later, Brooke and Taylor play nice, yet both women use any opportunity to stress their respective special connection to Ridge.
