However, they soon begin to realize that their search for a grieving relative may be nothing more than a wild goose chase, and a case of double identity. The net begins to close around Chandler when he is unable to prove his whereabouts at the time of Anne Merrick's death, and an agitated McAllister refuses to provide him with a false alibi. Chandler gives his alibi as a disabled driver whom he helped change a tyre for, but CIB don't believe him, leaving McAllister with the only option of trying to locate the driver in an attempt to clear Chandler's name.
