However, before either team could settle into the Trump Tower, they were instructed to give up one person that would not only serve on the opposing team, but become the project manager for the first task as well. Bradford from the men's team "Mosaic", and Pamela from the woman's team "Apex" volunteered to go to the other side and lead their new teams in the first task, which was to develop a new toy for Mattel. The product that the children gave the most repeated attention to would be declared the winner. Despite the criticism from most of his female Apex team mates, the new PM Bradford, took early control of what would later prove to be a highly dysfunctional woman's team, and lead them to victory for the first task.
