Henry's half-brother, Norman, ruins him in his father's estimation by stealing from him, then throwing the suspicion on Henry. Henry is ordered from the house, and a second will is made favoring Norman. Sometime later Norman's underhand work is discovered, and the will is again revised, making Henry the heir. Col. Philips dies, and, shortly after, Henry returns to find Norman in the act of stealing the latest will. A fight ensues, in which Norman is overpowered. Henry, exonerated, marries Helen.
