Hedinger and Marcus Gossolt achieved their international breakthrough. As agents of the Swiss Bureau of Investigation (SBI) they become involved in a series of strange incidents. Unexpectedly they find themselves back in 13th-century Switzerland, where they must take the place of the missing William Tell, who correspondingly has been transported to the 21st century. Thanks in part to the help of a mysterious oracle (HR Giger) they succeed in saving Switzerland, returning to the present and protecting the Earth from an alien invasion.
