On the other side, she is an emotionally torn introvert, the product of an abusive childhood, who must deal with feelings of guilt over her sister's mysterious death. Unlike her previous assignments, Serious is hired to terminate JERRI, an innocent nanny for a corrupt senator with ties to The Committee. Serious reneges on the deal. Her actions result in a deadly cat and mouse game where she's forced to battle her deadly colleagues to keep the nanny alive long enough to uncover the truth behind the assassination attempt. Serious and Jerri develop a sister-like bond during the ordeal and Serious ultimately relies on Jerri's inner strength and compassion to come to terms with her sister's death.
