He is chased by a tramp. Harry falls asleep and Alice goes for a walk. She meets Joe and they engage in conversation. Geraldine sees them. She is furious. She meets Harry. He escorts her home. That evening Geraldine writes a letter to Harry, asking him to call, and one to Joe, telling him she never wants to see him again. But she gets the letter mixed and Joe gets the invitation to call.
