He attacks her and, following a struggle, is imprisoned for housebreaking. With the aid of a light-o'-love he makes a sensational escape from prison and goes straight to the governor's house. It is late. Marion, sitting by the fire awaiting her husband's return, confronts the intruder and, to save herself, snatches a pistol from a drawer. The governor, returning, finds her fainting above the lifeless body of the convict. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
