Coming upon two bathers' clothes in an automobile, they don them and ride off, leaving their old clothing for the football players who in donning them are mistaken by the sheriff and arrested. Slim finds a letter of introduction in his pocket and decides to assume M, T, Dome's identity. Delivering the letter to Joe's sister who is fond of outdoor sports, and introducing himself as the football player, Slim is forced to play the game, that afternoon. At the game, comes the sheriff, who has found great interest in the game, During the game, Slim catches sight of him and, believing he is after him, runs with the ball past the goal, thus winning the game for his team. The sheriff catches up with him and congratulates him; and the girl gives a party in his honor, At the party one of the men shows a news item telling of a man-eating leopard which has escaped from the zoo. The girl's sweetheart hearing, has a brilliant idea, and tying a leopard skin to the dog, sends it into the party. During the commotion that follows, Slim's friend sees the fraud, and throwing the dog from the house, returns for thanks. Foiled in his attempt to get rid of the frauds, the sweetheart informs the sheriff, who arrives with his men, and the two real football players. The chase that follows looks very black for the two frauds when the girl rescues Slim, and an old maid falls for his friend. Written by Copyright Description from Library of Congress See less
