Oka Hiromi (Ueto Aya) on her first day at Nishi High School is captivated by the beauty, loveliness and strength of backhand of a local starlet of female tennis - Reiko Ryuzaki (Matsumoto Rio). In pursuit of her idol she joins the tennis team. The story of passion, friendship and rivalry begins. Later on, Hiromi, although being a greenhorn at tennis, manages to catch the attention of Munakata Jin (Uchino Masaki), who acknowledges both her talent and commitment, and agrees to coach the school's tennis team.
