The rancher's daughter, wanting to save them, tells them of the cow-boys' evil intentions. So when Dago Red arrives and asks the boys where they want their bodies sent, the boys are wise enough to speed away They manager to evade Dago Red and go to the Dirty Deuce Saloon where the customers sing, "Oh, say, can I see?" after every drink. Their enemy, enraged, has gathered his clan, and follows them to the Saloon. They manage to have a pool table fall on Dago Red, pinning him to the floor, and so achieve a good head-start in the chase to follow. After the boys have sped rapidly about the mountain roads, in a rickety carriage; have lost their horses; and falling down a slope; they exclaim; "And this is only where the West begins." Written by
