Two American companies, Hudson Valley Foie Gras and Sonoma Foie Gras, are solely responsible for this suffering. Most people are unaware that such farms even exist, and even more are clueless about what happens there. Ducks, cramped in overcrowded pens and narrow isolation cages, force-fed three times a day to enlarge their livers, suffer unnoticed. This documentary film takes you behind the closed doors of this industry and exposes the daily suffering inherent in the production of this delicacy. Written by Hayduke See less
