A document of international scope, "The Apparitions of the Virgin Mary" takes us on pilgrimage to Betania (Venezuela), the last recognized apparition, and to Medjugorje (ex-Yugoslavia), where Our Lady appeared to several boys and girls from the same village every day for 19 years. Respectful of religious convictions, we rigorously confront the opposing points of view of the proponents of the supernatural and the supporters of rationalism. This film shows how the current proliferation of apparitions betrays a thirst for the supernatural, the marvelous, the quest for the feminine face of God. See less
