Meanwhile, the boys father, a violent drunk, notices his pipe missing and sets out to find it. When he reaches the kids and recovers his pipe, he demands an explanation. Waiting for his son's rather slow response, Mr. Brow inadvertantly starts smoking the pipe, not knowing what it is stuffed with. Soon his violent nature is mellowed and he walks away.
