The C.D. & O.R.R. Co. has advertised for estimates on the construction of a trestle. The day before the bids are to be offered to the R.R. Co., Spencer engages the services of two tramps to abduct Randall and keep him a prisoner until after the given date. The tramps receive a part of the money and waylay Randall. They send a letter for the balance. Spencer receives the letter and rushes to the young lady. In lighting a cigar he drops the note. Dorothy unobserved picks it up and goes to release her sweetheart.
