She also tells him not to forget to order coal. She entertains the ladies of the party in the afternoon, and their husbands are to join them for dinner. Mr. Younghubby, with an anniversary present, comes home early, prepared to sneak in through the cellar and surprise his frau. He gets locked in the cellar, and the coal is dumped in on top of him. His wife and her friends send for the police to take the "burglar." After a wild experience, in which Hubby is arrested, the coal heavers get away with the jewelry, and trouble reigns generally.
