Her husband heaps presents and money on her but does not realize that she wants love and companionship. One night when he goes out to the club, she sits dreaming of what might have been and recalls how, when she worked for Rodney, she sacrificed her love for George Calvin, another employee, for money in marrying the aged millionaire. She dreams that she had married the youth she loved and that there had been a baby born to them, thus sealing their life happiness.
