It was only a few weeks after their honeymoon too. Oh, the awful horror of thinking that someone else had taken his place in the affections of the one woman. He determined to be brave, though. His appeals to his wife for an explanation brought no satisfactory response. He must be a man and act as a man. He hid himself and determined to see who the invader of his home was and kill him like a snake.
