Joan's father had promised her to Steve Bryan, whom Joan dislikes because he had refused to help Bill when the latter was attacked by a bunch of rustlers. To square the matters off, Steve hires Domino Dan to frame kidnapping Joan, so that he can pose as hero by rescuing her, but Dan double-crosses Steve and kidnaps the girl. Joan sends police dog to notify Bill, who shortly comes to her assistance, and by so doing wins her father's favor, who does not object to him as son-in-law.
