Most of them knew nothing of the language and culture of the new country which, in turn, did not understand them and did not even know they had arrived. Vladimir, a young Russian man, tries to survive in Buenos Aires, where he feels like a stranger. He has to confront the lack of work, the corruption of Government officials and unfinished projects. He falls in love with a prostitute and spends his nights having sex and drinking vodka with his Russian friend. He naively believes Buenos Aires is his own paradise. See less
