One ...See moreEddie has dropped out of school and has been hanging out at the beach, drinking, smoking marijuana with his pals. He sees no reason to build a future for himself because he feels it's all going to be destroyed in a nuclear war anyway. One day he gets caught in a riptide and is swept out to sea. He's picked up by a Japanese fisherman and his 17-year old granddaughter. The fisherman is an old man and a survivor of Hiroshima who has seen a lot in his life. Eddie starts to work for him.
