Bill had a pretty wife and the Star Boarder immediately fell in love with her. He began to sow seeds of discontent in her mind. And as you know very few of us are free from faults. Bill had a few of these the Star Boarder began to magnify to the little wife, who fell for his slander. After a time she grew so discontented that she decided that life was too short to live with so worthless a man as Bill. The Star Boarder was then happy and immediately after the divorce popped the question to her and they were married. It was raining terribly while the ceremony was performed, which was a bad omen, but the Star Boarder called a cab to take them home, and lo and behold who should arrive but Bill with his old jitney bus. When he discovered who his fares were he immediately proceeded to give them the ride of their lives. Over fences, through green pastures and uphill and down dale. He was pursued by cops, pedestrians, dogs and everything, but Bill raced on until the old bus blew up with all occupants. Bill thus got the last wallop at the Star Boarder.
