Most people think that life is interesting only before marriage-But we think that the real life begins after marriage. As such we have presented in 'Fashion' the life story of a married couple with all the romance and pathos, the delight and grief, the blessings and worries that go along with marital life. ChandraMohan plays Yusuf who is tired of being a ghar-jamai (resident son-in-law) and decides to move to Bombay with his devoted wife Razia (played by Sardar Akhtar). Yusuf's plan is, as it always is, to make enough money in the big city to silence his snobbish father-in-law. Sabita Devi plays the part of an eye-gazing and seductive Bombay woman, Farida, a social butterfly who distracts poor Yusuf from his virtuous Razia.
