Billy meets a charming young woman who is delighted to join him at his table, but when Billy proposes a dance, and the girl gladly accepts, she does not suspect that they will wreck the place before they finish. Billy collides with waiters bearing laden trays, comes into violent contact with stout dancers, and creates so much havoc that they are about to he put out when a skating match is announced. Billy, of course, dons skates and mingles with the gay throng, so completely that employees have to pry him out of the mass of people he has bowled over with whom he has become hopelessly entangled. He hurries out with his girl and suggests a visit to his club where a boxing match is about to begin. But young Dawson wires he cannot meet his waiting opponent. The match would have been called off but for Billy's willingness to light. In his inimitably ludicrous manner Billy scraps with his partner and knocks him out in a blaze of glory.
