In a suburb of São Paulo, former wrestler Ângelo and poor mechanic Totó decides to found a female wrestling team, Duras na Queda, where they call on ordinary women from the neighborhood like Clarisse, Edilaine and Vanusa to learn the sport...See moreIn a suburb of São Paulo, former wrestler Ângelo and poor mechanic Totó decides to found a female wrestling team, Duras na Queda, where they call on ordinary women from the neighborhood like Clarisse, Edilaine and Vanusa to learn the sport in the hope of winning some money in tournaments so that everyone can have a better life. The person who helps them is the journalist Catarina, who begins a romance with Totó, shaken when he meets Paula, an architect from Morumbi and owner of the building where the team trains, being enchanted by the mechanic's good heart. She is the daughter of Ramiro and Mirone, two bon vivants from a traditionalist family who are bankrupt due to horse betting, who see the opportunity to get their feet off the ground by setting up an illegal wrestling betting scheme. The biggest obstacle for Totó and Ângelo is Brás, a scoundrel who lives off scams and decides to found a rival women's fighting team, formed by Teresa, Alma and Arlete. In addition, there is Plínio, leader of the commercial association who wants the gym out of the neighborhood, and the conservative Coriolano, who considers female fighting inappropriate.
