He wrote a note saying that if he was not released, he would jump out of the window. He lowered the note to the window of the room where his mother sat. Then he pitched a large doll out of the window. Seeing the fall of the doll, his mother concluded that he had carried out his threat. When the boy's father came into the room, he heard what had happened, and Tiny Tim's appearance enraged him. Then the father did a rash thing; he seized Tiny Tim and flung him out of the window. The fall would have killed the boy but for the fact that the cook was entering the house with her apron full of vegetables. Tim came hurtling through the air and fell plumb into the widespread apron, and his life was saved. A film that will cause merriment. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
