In this documentary, the audience becomes acquainted with a man and two women, who are members of the Social Development Unit (SDU) of Singapore, and follows them on an SDU cruise and to an SDU seminar. These scenes are juxtaposed with a speech by former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, a wedding, and family values advertising. The difference between the 'traditional' Asian male concept of an ideal wife and the reality of the modern woman is sensitively explored. Written by L.H. Wong See less
