Sensing her imminent death, she instructs her husband to do one last thing, to pull out a nail that has been stuck at the back of her neck for years. This sets off a terrifying transformation, before she dies. A year later, she returns from the dead, to his horror, and swears to protect her son Petir forever. Petir grows up to be strong with an occasional display of an aggressive behaviour. Ten years later, he falls in love with Halimah, a beautiful village girl, much to the dismay of an elderly scientist, Dr Sulong who has the same feelings for her. When the village is plagued by evil forces, Petir finds himself changing into a horrible creature, to protect the love of his life. See less
