They rule supreme in their own inimitable way until a bespectacled college graduate arrives to have his diploma, and incidentally himself, photographed. He looks rather harmless with his bone-rimmed goggles, but when Lucas and Larkin attempt to take his feet off the table where he has placed them for safekeeping, he shows them a few new ones in the manly art of self-defense. Then Harry Hardguy makes his appearance. He looks more dangerous than the college boy, and makes outlaw the rule that looks are deceiving.
