On returning home she tells her father. He sends the constable after them. She goes out again and the mashers again speak to her. The constable again arrests them. The justice fines them ten dollars apiece. The third masher that talks to her is beaten up by the constable's assistant. One of the mashers then disguises as a woman and induces the constable to flirt with him. They imagine they have the laugh on him, but they are again arrested.
