May rides after her sweetheart, the express rider, and overtakes him just as he is assaulted by the robbers. Holding the two desperadoes at bay, she picks up the express bag and dashes away to deliver it. At the relay station she warns the officials, who ride back to apprehend the robbers, while she continues her journey.
