Sanjini was born and brought up in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and is of Indian (Gujerati) descent. She started college in the U.S. at 16 years old - attending colleges in Oklahoma, San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles and Texas. She graduated from University of Texas at Austin when she was twenty and also received a Master's Degree from Texas State University. She lived in Miami, Toronto and resides in Vancouver, Canada.

Sanjini has acted in numerous plays - Shakespeare and restoration comedies (17th century) being her favorite. She had worked on many independent films - over 15 and a few commercials. Bringing magic to roles especially such as a Queen, Princess, Action Hero, Nun, Nefertiti, Cleopatra and even Indira Gandhi will win her the Oscar.

Sanjini is a skilled martial artist. She has also traveled the world.
