Walter began his career in television before switching to musicvideos and commercials. His work has been described as cultural mythos infused with a dark sense of humor.

His spots cover a wide range of genres and are noted for their painstaking authenticity, cinematic craft and unexpected twists.

Walter's visual meticulousness and epic cinematic style combined with his dry sense of humor paved the way for the american market.

In 2011 he joined Reset, David Fincher's leading commercial production company in Los Angeles. He shot more then 300 campaigns for for clients like Nike, Disney, Mercedes-Benz, Netflix, Ikea, Nintendo, Coca-Cola, VW, Audi and Playstation.
