He graduated from the Aristoteles University of Thessaloniki with a Bachelor in Archaeology & History of Art (1995-2000) and then studied Cultural Studies & Communication at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens (2001-2003) and Film at the European Film College in Denmark (2003-2004). In 2011 he was selected for the Berlinale Talent Campus and in 2021 for the Meet The Future program of the Thessaloniki Film Festival. He's a member of the Hellenic Film Academy.
